To ensure our programs meet the highest standards, we maintain accreditations and certifications from several organizations.

The Joint Comission

Still Detox is accredited by The Joint Commission, an independent, not-for-profit organization that accredits and certifies more than 22,000 health care organizations and programs in the United States.

Accreditation by The Joint Commission is recognized nationwide as a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to meeting certain performance standards.

The Joint Commission’s standards are developed in consultation with health care experts and providers, measurement experts and patients. Accreditation is given only after an on-site survey is conducted to independently verify that an organization meets The Joint Commission’s standards.

Florida Department of Children & Families

Still Detox has earned the Florida Department of Children and Families accreditation. The Substance Abuse & Mental Health (SAMH) Program is the legislatively appointed state authority for substance abuse, mental health, and methadone designation. The program is governed by Chapters 394 and 397 of the Florida Statutes and is responsible for the oversight of a statewide system of care for the prevention, treatment, and recovery of children and adults with serious mental illnesses or substance abuse disorders.

State Licenses and Certifications

All of our clinicians and counselors maintain active licenses and certifications from the Florida Board of Behavioral Sciences. Our facilities also maintain all required state licenses and permits.

Continuing Education

Our staff participates in ongoing continuing education to stay up to date on the latest treatment approaches, therapies and best practices. We provide this continuing education through accredited programs to ensure the information is valid, evidence-based and effective.
