About Still Detox New Jersey
Still Detox New Jersey is the second facility operated by Still Behavioral Health Group, a behavioral health organization founded by Ryan Hailey, his brother and Jarrett Slaff during the COVID pandemic. The Mays Landing campus sits on 33 owned acres with 44 beds and a full-time on-site medical team.
Who runs Still Detox New Jersey?
Still Behavioral Health Group operates Still Detox New Jersey. The parent organization also operates Still Detox in Florida and Still Mind Mental Health. Three founders, Ryan Hailey, his brother and Jarrett Slaff, established the company during the COVID pandemic.
Still Behavioral Health Group built the Mays Landing facility as a new-construction campus, not a converted property. The 33-acre site holds 44 beds, 6 private bedrooms, marble bathrooms, a gym inside the detox unit, an outdoor basketball court and an adventure course.
The Florida and New Jersey locations operate under a deliberate separation philosophy. Each facility has its own Medical Director, its own clinical team, its own licensing and its own admissions process. Disruptions at one campus do not affect the other.
Why did Still Behavioral Health Group open a New Jersey facility?
The founders opened the Mays Landing campus to serve the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast corridor with the same physician-led, high-acuity model proven at the Florida location.
New Jersey sits within driving distance of New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, D.C. The 170 Route 50 address in Mays Landing is 26 minutes from Atlantic City, approximately 70 minutes from Philadelphia and approximately 2 hours from Newark.
The bidirectional separation philosophy means a Florida client who benefits from geographic distance transfers to New Jersey, and a New Jersey client who benefits from a warmer climate transfers to Florida. Neither facility is a satellite of the other.
What is the mission of Still Detox New Jersey?
The mission is to deliver medically rigorous detox and residential treatment in a setting that removes barriers to admission, including complex medical conditions, insurance complications and geographic distance.
Still Detox New Jersey admits people other facilities decline: clients with PICC lines, active cancer, late-stage cirrhosis, seizure disorders and HIV. The private bathrooms are purpose-built for this population. A full-time Medical Director, psychiatrist and clinical director evaluate every client in person.
Discharge planning begins at admission. Case management is a core strength at the New Jersey facility, with PHP referrals, sober-living coordination and primary-care handoffs arranged before the client leaves.
How does Still Detox New Jersey differ from the Florida location?
The two facilities share a parent organization and a clinical philosophy but operate with separate medical teams, separate licensing and separate daily operations.
Key differences between the two campuses:
- New Jersey: 44 beds on 33 acres in Mays Landing, Atlantic County
- Florida: separate bed count, separate property, separate state licensing
- Each facility has its own full-time Medical Director and psychiatrist
- The admissions process is identical at both locations, and admissions matches each client to the right campus
- TRICARE is in-network at both locations; both are out-of-network for commercial plans
